The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) named Blue Ocean Contact Centers one of 2009's Best 10 Rising Stars in Canada as part of their Global Outsourcing 100 program with sub lists featuring leading outsourcers from such industries as IT, business process outsourcing, customer relationship management, capital asset management, manufacturing, and logistics.

The Global Outsourcing 100 has become a prominent resource for global clients seeking new and expanded relationships with the best outsourcing service providers in the world.

 

Blue Ocean Contact Centers wins award for technology innovation

Blue Ocean Contact Centers was awarded the bronze medal for Best Internal Technology Innovation as part of the 2009 Contact Center World Top Performers Awards.

Solutions were judged on criteria such as process improvements, enhanced service and business performance, implementation, and return on investment. This solution was Blue Ocean’s TCCS (Tourism Customer Contact System) designed by the company’s technology team to support one of their primary clients, The Province of Nova Scotia.

 

Blue Ocean Contact Centers receives international outsourcing recognition

Blue Ocean Contact Centers was selected by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) as one of the Top 10 outsourcing providers in the service industry in 2008.

The IAOP annually ranks the world's best outsourcing service providers as a critical reference guide for companies seeking to create and expand relationships with the top companies in the industry. The lists include companies from around the world providing a wide range of outsourcing services.

For the sixth consecutive year, Blue Ocean Contact Centers was presented with the "Commitment to Excellence" award in 2008 during the Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council Recognition of Excellence Dinner.

 

Blue Ocean Contact Centers, formerly CorporaTel, recognized as a “2006 Canadian Tourism Employer of Choice”

The Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC) and the Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council (NSTHRC) recently recognized Blue Ocean Contact Centers, formerly CorporaTel, as a “2006 Canadian Tourism Employer of Choice”. 

This recognition is part of the “Commitment to Excellence” National Business Recognition Program and applauds Blue Ocean Contact Centers' efforts during the past year in the development of human resources through training and emerit National Certification.

Blue Ocean Contact Centers, formerly CorporaTel, received the 2006 Contact Centre World Award for “Best Outsourcing Solution in the Americas". The award, which is based on the quality of feedback from customers, is considered among global industry insiders to be a true indication of the quality of service and performance by contact centers.  

Companies vying for Best Outsourcing Solution in the Americas were judged on results in categories including quality and level of product knowledge of agents, flexibility to meet changing customer needs, quality of reporting, quality of account management, customer care provided by agents, proactive suggestions to enhance customer’s business, and overall value for money.

Blue Ocean Contact Centers, formerly CorporaTel, was selected as the winner of the 2003 Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC) Award for Excellence in Human Resource Development. 

Blue Ocean Contact Centers' selection as a winner of the award recognizes its commitment to professionalism in the Canadian tourism workforce through professional recognition, training and excellence in human resource management. The CTHRC Award for Excellence in Human Resource Development is one of 12 National Awards for Tourism Excellence developed by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) and presented for the first time in 2003. The National Awards for Tourism Excellence are a celebration of Canada's best in tourism products, services and people.
